If you have more than one monitor, the sunshine settings local website has an option to choose which monitor gets streamed. I didn't do extensive trials but using my xbox series controller wireless had noticeable input delay, wired it was barely noticeable, and I had less than 1ms in all the moonlight stats except the average rendering which was between 1ms and 16ms because the TV works at those reading who don't understand how the whole thing works (because it isn't explained anywhere), the full video contents of a monitor gets streamed + the audio and the inputs from the client get streamed back, that's it. ![]() The monitor in the server has to be on, there are gimmicks to get around this like getting an HDMI dummy plug, but the easiest one is to manually switch the connection of the monitor to an unused port so it goes to standby. Yes, it just works TM, but there are caveats (also some data from my experience): Launch moonlight in the mini pc connected to the tv (also wired to the LAN), see my desktop computer in the list, connect, use the pin number on the local sunshine settings website and DONE, I was "using" my desktop computer from my mini pc. Launch sunshine in a console, it needs to be on a DE session with a the monitor ON, it doesn't work headless. I installed moonlight, I installed sunshine on my desktop and then just: I grabbed my Ventoy USB that has bunch of ISOs, I updated the endevaouros one, destroyed the windows 10 partition in the mini pc (recovery partition included) and installed endeavouros in the mini pc (had to use the grub option when booting the livecd, the default option didn't make it all the way). ![]() So I went ahead to see if I could pull it too. Linux Gamers Group: Matrix Space / home roomĪ few weeks later, a coincidence happened, I discovered-remembered that I have a mini pc, a vorke v1 plus, near a printer that I haven't used in years because I haven't print since forever, that I could use to stream my desktop to this mini pc and game in any of the TVs at home.Lots of useful information can be found in our wiki: We know spam when we see it and will delete it.
